While many people are familiar with William Shatner the actor, musician, novelist and spokesman, very few know of Mr. Shatner the scholar. Before pursuing his acting career, Shatner attended McGill University in Montreal.  He graduated with a Bachelor of commerce degree and studied economics. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by McGill University in June of 2011. He even has the honor of having The Students' Society building at this University being unofficially named "Shatner".  Just proof once more that Mr. William Shatner truly is a god.
